Our Costumer is a Global Company, corrently they are working in Partnership with Better People HCC and looking for: Process Engineer (Junior)


Work place: Gandhinagar / INDIA


Market: Petroleum and Gas Equipments (Industry)


Funcion: Process Manufacturing and Continuous Improvements




-   Responsible for implementing CI (Continuous Improvements) of processes and manufacturing within quality critical areas of the factory including process, product and machinery. Training of team members in using CI tools and providing vital records during our manufacturing processes




-   Line / Cell Leading Responsibility: Prepare procedures and verifying that the requested manufacturing specifications and records to fulfil our Quality system are performed within GMP (Good manufacturing practise), traceability within requested accuracy and quality


-   Process Responsibility: Defining GMP of processes, tooling, equipment and flow improvements

-   Contributing within the brainstorming team with the drawing up of Action Plans / Work Instructions / Procedures and Training programs for Company members




-   Able to demonstrate experience /knowledge in the use of Lean and Six Sigma techniques to« complete process improvements. (KAIZEN or CI)

-   Good analytical skills to help drive and measure improvements

-   Able to demonstrate/keen in developing within manufacturing processes and equipment

-   Able to participate in or lead teams in a multifunctional process environment

-   Must be Dynamic, self-motivated, and able to work well with a wide range of people within the business both internally and externally. (Plus, Cultural conscious)

-   Proven ability to manage multiple process projects successfully

-   Excellent problem-solving skills and able to drive through improvements.

-   Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to present information concisely and effectively (English/ Portuguese)

-   Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D Drawing Package and geometric tolerances (Bonus)

-   Familiar with personal computers and competent using Excel, Word, Power point, and (Minitab a bonus)

-   Able to justify capital expenditure for improvements identified as well as PO’s for equipment, tooling or gauging etc

-   CNC setup experience/Knowledge. (or keen in learning)

-   Able to create FMEA’s (Failure Mode Effect Analysis) and Risk assessments to form part of the change control process

-   Capable to communicate in English and provide written reports in English.




-   Degree or equivalent in Process, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering

-   The ability to demonstrate competence to attain Lean 6 sigma qualification


Previous Experience:


-   Keen working in a Process Manufacturing environment (0 - 1 yrs) (Automotive and Lean Process candidates are most welcome)




-   Demonstrable analytical ability within a process manufacturing environment

-   Active participation in operational Excellence activities including Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen events

-   Key support for production lines/ cells in a vital area of the business producing quality critical product

-   Technical understanding of production, equipment and processes

-   Conduct investigations to resolve CA and PA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) and complete report with maximum accuracy

-   To maintain and create technical documentation such as Product Data Sheets , Training Instructions (TI), Work Instruction (WI) and Specifications pertaining to the area of expertise

-   Define and implement cost savings, process and procedural enhancements

-   Support the processes for procuring new machinery

-   Provide support to the manufacturing teams and lines / cells

-   Knowledge of validation techniques such as FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), or SAT (Site Acceptance Test) and IQOQPQ (Installation, Operational, Performance Qualification)

-   Will Deliver, Chair or Attend meetings when required to do so by the role

-   Will prepare and present reports plus any statistical information in regard to Process Manufacturing Engineering

-   Any other duties required in support of the Engineering service to the Process manufacturing operation

-   Contribute across departmental brainstorming team during CI projects.
